Dear Ketchikan.
You will always hold the strings to my heart. And yet, I trekked down to Oregon to follow my parents.
But I miss the ocean, the people, the light, eating fish and photographing people that I know. I recently was asked where I live and where my business is based out of. I stumbled. I didn’t know if I should say Oregon or Alaska, so I said both. I still feel that I am home in 2 states.
I am so grateful for being able to go back home to photograph the daily lives of Ketchikan’s families. It’s a blast. Big smiles, puddle jumping, rain, waffle making, beach combing, face falling straight into a mud puddle 2 minutes into your session kind of fun. It’s a pleasure being able to get right in and photograph love and big days like weddings, engagements and really all of the moments in-between. Ketchikan, thank you for letting me photograph it.
To my friends, my family, my clients. THANK YOU.
I’ll be making one more trip up to Ketchikan starting: August 22- Sept 2
so, if you are interested, let’s connect (head over to the contact page and fill out a few details for me!)
I’d love to tell your story.
